Spicy Spring Onion (Side Dish)

Very quick and fire free side dish for onion lovers.

If you buy a bunch of spring onions for Chinese preparations such as noodles / rice / manchurian and have no idea what to do with the remaining bunch then here is a simple and quick recipe for you.

Spring Onion helps in improving vision, strengthening your bones, protects you against infections, etc.

Ingredients-

  • 1/2 bunch of Spring Onions

  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Powder (Coarsely Grounded)

  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

  • Salt as per taste

  • Cumin Powder and Coriander Powder

  • Kanda-Lasun Masala (Optional)

  • Cooking Oil 1 tbsp (Or Olive Oil)

  • Coriander for garnishing


Directions-

  • Clean, wash and finely chop the spring onions (take few small onions as well).

  • In a bowl, add spring onions, peanut powder, red chili powder, cumin and coriander powder, very little amount of kanda-lasun masala, salt and oil.

  • Mix all ingredients well.

  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander.

  • Yey. And we have done with the side dish.
