Immunity Booster Recipe 2 - Flax Seeds/Jawas/Alsi Chutney

Easy way to incorporate Flax Seeds in our daily diet.

They are packed with Nutrients, Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Antioxidants, Minerals and Essential Vitamins.

Iron from Flax Seeds plays important role in helping your body fights infection by ensuring your immune system gets enough oxygen.

Dry Coconut/Khobre Chutney -

Ingredients-

  • Flax Seeds 1/2 Cup Peanuts 2 Tbsp

  • Garlic Pods 6-7 (If you like garlic you can add few more pods) Cumin Seeds 1 Tbsp

  • Red Chili Powder 1 Tbsp or as per your taste

  • Asafoetida 1tsp

  • Salt as per taste


Directions-

  • Take a pan with thick bottom and roast Flax Seeds, Peanuts, Garlic Pods and Cumin Seeds separately on low to medium flame.

  • Now let these ingredients cool down completely.

  • Add above ingredients to a mixer/grinder jar along with Red Chili Powder, Salt and Asafoetida.

  • Grind it to a fine consistency and your Flax Seeds chutney is ready.

  • Store it in air tight container.


Tip- Roast the flax seeds and grind it to a fine consistency and add this flax seeds powder to your curries, parathas or simply sprinkle it over your salads, dosas, uttapas, etc.
