Karale/Khurasani//Niger Seeds Chutney

This chutney makes great accompaniment for simple Indian meals. It can be serve with your daily meals and goes really well with Jowar/Bajra/Ragi Roti(Bhakri).



Dry Coconut/Khobre Chutney -

Ingredients-


  • Karale/Khurasani/Niger Seeds 1 Cup

  • Garlic Pods 8-10

  • Cumin Seeds 1/2 Tbsp

  • Red Chili Powder 1/2 Tbsp

  • Red Chilies 3-4

  • Salt as per taste

Tip - If you don't have Red Chiilies then use 1 Tbsp of Red Chili Powder.




Directions-


  • Take a pan with thick bottom and roast Karale/Khurasani/Niger Seeds, Garlic Pods and Cumin Seeds separately on low to medium flame.

  • Now let these ingredients cool down completely.

  • Add above ingredients to a mixer/grinder jar along with Red Chili Powder and Salt

  • Grind it in intervals to a slightly coarse consistency and your Karale/Khurasani/Niger Seeds chutney is ready.

  • Store it in air tight container.

  • While serving it add little oil or curd to this chutney. Trust me this is the best way to have it.
